Whether you are running one storefront or dozens, every journey starts the same way: authorize the app in Shopify, drop the store into Syncvenio, and make sure live updates can flow. This guide keeps the process fast and predictable.
1. Launch the install link
Open the invite or click Connect store inside the dashboard. Enter the .myshopify.com domain (without HTTPS), then select Install. Shopify shows you the scopes we request, then redirects you straight back to the console.
Tip: if you have multiple Shopify accounts, switch to the correct one before approving the install so the store lands in the right organization.
2. Send yourself a magic link
After the install, Syncvenio emails a magic link so you can sign into the dashboard. Enter the same email you use with Shopify (or the one your admin invited) and keep the tab open—links expire after 10 minutes for security.
3. Confirm the store appears
Head to Dashboard → Stores. New installs pop in within seconds. Look for the green badges:
- Live webhooks — confirms Shopify is streaming real-time inventory changes.
- Locations refreshed — shows when we last fetched fulfillment locations so you can map buckets correctly.
If either badge is red, click Refresh. That re-requests scopes from Shopify and rebuilds the webhook subscription automatically.
4. Drop the store into a bucket
Once a store is online, use Sync Buckets → Manage stores to place it alongside peers. Buckets control which storefronts mirror one another and when. You can save with a single store, but Syncvenio will warn you until at least two stores participate.
5. Invite teammates (optional)
Owners can head to Members and invite additional users so they get their own magic links. Each teammate inherits the same organization context and can help manage installs, buckets, and reconciliation.
Keep going
Repeat the same flow for every storefront you want to orchestrate. After two stores are live you can trigger a manual sync, set a schedule, or turn on real-time mode for instant parity. Need help? Email support@syncvenio.com or tap the Contact link in the footer.
